Benefits of Grass Fed Beef Tallow for Skin

Beef tallow is overflowing with skin benefits! Who knew?

Discover the skin-revitalizing benefits of tallow based products with Vitamins A, D, E, and K!!

These vitamins are naturally occurring. Vitamin A is a natural retinol while vitamin K fights free radical damage.

Unlock the Benefits of Tallow's Natural Linoleic Acid in Every Product.
Sure, you can get linoleic acid in chemical cosmetics, but it's naturally occurring in tallow balm. Linoleic acid is an omega-6 fatty acid and antioxidant that works to moisturize, plump, and fight inflammation. It can also reduce acne, minimize scarring, and rebuild the skin barrier.

Tallow has natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties.

Tallow balm won't strip your skin of good bacteria, but will zoom in on the bad and help remove it. The anti-inflammatory properties help calm redness, inflammation, and even acne.

Tallow can naturally increase collagen production

We all know collagen is good for you and your skin, and it breaks down over time. Replenishing collagen gives you younger looking skin, and who doesn't want that.
Tallow to the rescue, as it can boost blood flow to your skin while providing much needed vitamins and minerals for collagen creation.

        Tallow won’t clog your pores

Tallow balm is non-comedogenic, which means it works with your skin’s natural barrier, instead of against it. Even though tallow balm has a thick and creamy texture, it is unlikely to clog pores or lead to breakouts.

Tallow balm mimics your skin barrier

This is one of the most powerful benefits—and why tallow is a skincare “superfood." Tallow is an animal product and because of this, it’s easier for our skin to recognize than most plant products. The natural makeup of high-quality tallow balm is similar to our own skin’s DNA-- and this is why it can rapidly heal wounds and reverse skin damage.

What to Look for in Beef Tallow for Your Skin

You want the real deal, not diluted products what half the benefits. Cow Fat products (as you've seen here 100 times already :-)) are tallow based, and only from grass fed cattle.

Grass-fed tallow has a more balanced concentration of fatty acids, and the ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fats is optimal for your skin.

Along with our high quality tallow, we use only natural and raw products, such as organic olive oil, raw honey, and natural essential oils. Your skin will notice and thank you.

Mainly, we sell unscented products with no essential oils, which are perfectly suited for people with sensitive skin. If you're a first time user, your skin will love you for it.
If you're wondering about the smell, unscented tallow (with the right rendering process) smells almost exactly like unscented shea butter, but it absorbs so much better.

But just for fun, and because people like it, we have some mildly scented products too. How does orange cream, honeysuckle, or frankincense sound?
And we are responsible with our scents, using only the highest quality.

Best of all, you'll need less product. Because our products are all natural, with no fillers, a very small amount of tallow product goes a long way.

             Beef Tallow isn't for Everyone

Many folks say beef tallow for skin is a fad, or a trend, and if it is, what a great trend. Though not everyone will agree, especially if you're vegan, and we get that. We aren't vegan, and we believe in using every part of the animal, so there's no waste. There are other natural skincare products, but we firmly belief in the benefits of tallow because we used it ourselves, long before we came up with recipes for our own product.

Finally, yes, you could eat it, but it doesn't have much flavor. Though our honey lip balm is the bomb!
